Karla Bylund, MS, SHRM-SCP

I am a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and have over twenty years of experience in the human resources profession. The majority of my career has been in Indian Country and I have worked with/for many tribes across the country. In the course of my career I have conducted numerous organizational, compensation, and classification studies; audited many HR departments; conducted sensitive investigations and implemented policies, procedures and processes to remove inefficiencies and improve the overall performance of company teams. I have also developed onsite and e-learning training programs focusing on the unique challenges in Indian Country.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Kansas State University

• Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

• Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University

• Senior Human Resource certification from the Society of Human Resource Management
